Swimming lakes
In just 10 minutes, you can reach the beautiful Ritzensee lake in Saalfelden, which quickly reaches temperatures of up to 27°C in the summer months due to its shallow depth. Several walking trails lead around the lake. In summer, the crystal-clear Lake Zell (20 minutes away by car) is also ideal for swimming, splashing around, and relaxing. Enjoy a wonderful swim in the 23°C water while taking in the fantastic view of the surrounding Alps.
Forest Slide Park
Austria's first forest slide park, with a total of more than 200 m of slides on the Natrun, Maria Alm's local mountain, promises great sliding fun for the whole family (children aged 6 and above). So that parents who don't like sliding can accompany their children, there is a forest path suitable for strollers that leads from the mountain station down to the valley, passing the individual slides along the way. Use of the slides is free of charge. You only have to pay for the lift ride up the mountain.
